Roman Cieslak

Roman Cieslak is a professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) and a senior research scholar at Trauma, Health, and Hazards Center, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. In his research, he investigates when and how self-efficacy, social support, and other resources are used in coping with work stress, job burnout, and negative consequences of traumatic events. With his team and coworkers, he develops, tests, and implements the on line intervention programs aimed at effective coping with job burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and depression symptoms.
